Hey y'all!
I'm in serious need of a weekend spent quilting, eating & just playing with a bunch of quilters. If you feel that way too, keep reading.
I am new to the state of Missouri, close to West Plains. I would like to see if there's enough of us who wants to get together & can do it in the next 3 to 5 weeks.
It would be from Friday to Sunday or something like that.
Branson is a good place but there's lots of other places too. Anywhere within 4 or 5 hours would be good.
If you think you'd like to do this, post here with your ideas & suggestions.

I'm attaching a pic of the only Trip Around the World I've made. just for fun

I was thinking the end of this month or first weekend of November.
Anyone else want to chime in here?

Here's a place over close to St Louis:

I really didn't want to get close to a large city.
Anyone stay here before? Or know where it is?
And if y'all don't have to do weekends, we can get some days during the week.

Our Oregon and Washington quilters from the Board do this twice a year at the beach. We have had sooooo much fun and always look forward to the next one. Lots of laughter, sewing, food and fun! Our biggest one was 16 of us! This one in October will be about 12! Ladies you will have so much fun! I hope it works out for all of you.

makes me wish I lived closer to you all. I live in the woods and stay by myself most of the time. It would be great to do something like this once in a while.

thank you! this sounds like just what we need.
But we need some more people who are interested. Come on, you folks in Missouri & Arkansas, Kansas or even OK!

If it was in Ozark, MO I would be 4 hours away.....arggg, I would SO want to do this, but funds are tight right now till after Christmas.....

I would definately be interested at the beginning of the year so I could save for it.....haven't ever been on a quilting retreat before, but it sure sounds wonderful!!
