By the way I also spoke to the lady at Pieceful Haven and she is supposed to be getting back with me on whether she has either of these weekends open. Her retreat is close enough that it would still be a possiblity for rooms for the nite Friday. After I hear from her I will let you know which if either weekend is vacant. Actually, I am planning to attend both of these events as I live close enough to make both trips, just thought the events might fit in nicely with the meet and greet idea.

I live in Louisville too and I've been quilting since last summer. Meeting people would be fun. I'd like to learn something from those of you who have a lot of experience.

I wouldn't be able to make either of those dates because my daughter is due then. She lives inMD. But I want to keep connected on hear for future dates.

My quilt guild is having a retreat there in April. It would be great to meet there we could actually stitch and shop together. A Grown-Up Pajama Party of sorts.

I won't be available anytime in March. My daughter is coming home from a 10 month deployment. We get to meet her carrier in Honolulu and cruise back on it to the states!! Sorry, ladies, even quilting doesn't hold a candle to that!!! LOL

I know you're happy about that! This time last year hubby and I were watching our grand so who was 19-26 months during the seven month deployment of my daughter to Iraq.

That is pretty cool getting to cruise back to the states on an airline carrier!

It would be fun. What do you do at a quilt retreat?
