These are two different Spirit Lakes. They are only about 100 miles apart!
Minnesota is the "Land of 10,000" lakes.... I think they ran out of names at some point! :lol: :lol: Some of the lakes around Mille Lacs are numbered!

Heather Quilts - loved your reply. I think "silver" is the most common name for a lake in northern MI and WI. I'll have to check back with you before I visit the kids at the cabin next summer. I'd like to find some quilt shops...

Sorry I didn't post the time. Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. The weather forecast sounds perfect. This particular Spirit Lake is close to Lake Lida in the Pelican Rapids area about 100 miles southwest of Brainard.
