Children under 12 are admitted free. The 2011 Show theme is ―A Quilters Journey and this special challenge competition invites members to sub-mit quilts that interpret ―A Favorite Trip . Just needed a little fix for that link, it works and the raffle quilt is beautiful.

The picture of the raffle quilt does not do it justice. It is made with batiks and beautifully quilted.

Thank you for all the great information that you share with us. I'll be in Indianapolis that weekend for The Crossroads Poultry show at the fair grounds and will try to sneak away while my husband is visiting with all the chicken guys. I hope to find a few things to do with my friends that are driving . We are from California and have never been past the Mississippi River. Caren

Will try to make it - as it gets closer to the date, will PM you if I'm able to make it and find out where the meet/greet is - sounds like a lot of fun, and would be wonderful to meet some people from here!

I'm definitely going Friday. Might decide to go back on Saturday. I'm about 20-30 minutes from the venue.

I might make a trial run drive up there this week just to check out the environs. And stop in Hobby Lobby and Hancock's on my way.
