I always have to get my Wisconsin map to find out where places are. I grew up in WI, but I left when I was 23, and I don't remember where anything is. Alas, I am too far away to enjoy this sale. There are too many opportunities at this time of year.

Hi Amy,

I live in Madison. Did you go to the sale?

I bought a couple of kits on sale. Then I bought some fat quarter bundles and a diamond ruler set (for double punches on my card). Wish I had more money...but then maybe it was a good thing I didn't! I wanted the book Quick Star Quilts and Beyond by Jan Krentz but they didn't have it.

I live down by Janesville. My favorite shop is near you though, I LOVE JJ's in Sun Prairie. Have you been there before?

I have only been there once. It's a little dark in there for me. My eyes need more lighting - getting older - lol. Have you ever been to Stichers Crossing on Madison's west side on Mineral Point Road? I still like the Mill House Quilts because I love looking at all of the quilts hanging in there. Inspiration for me. I have not started quilting yet but have plenty of stash. Time on the weekend keeps getting away from me - even with my kids all raised!

No, I havent been there before. I dont get to Madison much, will have to make Boy friend take me sometime, I am terrified to drive in Madison! If you ever get down by Whitewater, there is a wonderful one by Fort Atkinson. Super prices!
