Oh, I so wish I could go as one of our best quilters here in Timmins has an "amazing" quilt in the show. Make sure you check out her quilt - her name is Joan Davidson.

I will be there tomorrow and again on Friday/Saturday.
It doesn't seem like there is much interest here on the board for it though,,,,,
I was at the show in 2010 in Calgary and it was awesome, hoping this year's is just as good.

I saw her quilt - it is more than amazing! Up close you could really see the quality of the piecing, the intricacy of the piecing and from a distance it just glowed.

If any board members get a chance to go, this show is wonderful. I have only seen some of it thus far, going back on Friday and Saturday to see the rest of it (Niagara Heritage Quilt guild show, Fibre Artists show and a feedsack quilt exhibit) - also a nice merchant mall too.
