Anyone attending the International Quilt Festival in Houston this year? I'm so fortunate to have a son and his family living near there so I can visit them and my sweet little grandchildren and the show with all the vendors and quilts. I might even find the perfect gifts for my secret santa at the show. I'm so excited.

I have never been and would love to go, but can't this year. I'm hoping next year will be my year.

I just went to the Austin Quilt show and loved it. But not sure if we will go to the Houston one.. There is a group that is going from Bastrop Senior Center on a bus... I am a beginner quilter and just have done some pillows and quillows. Don't have the time to really do a lot of quilting right now but still buy quilting stuff every chance I get... LoL. But friends are trying to get hubby and me to go..I just signed up here tonight..looks like you have a great group..Hugs Patricia

I wish that EVERY quilter could attend the International Quilt Festival in Houston at least once in their lives. Believe me, it is an incredible experience, worth every sacrifice to get there, worth every night in a hotel to stay more than two days and take a class, as well as see all the vendors and quilts. Literally impossible to really do it all in a one day visit.

    A must-have adventure!
