Default New Indiana Quilt Shop Opening

My favorite quilt shop has moved from MI to IN (for family reasons) and will be opening her doors on January 3rd.

Deb is an amazing instructor / designer and I learned so much from her. She's very personable and definitely makes you "step out of the box" with a lot of her BOMs. I truly miss having her around but those in the Chesterton area will have an awesome new shop to go to.

If you do go, tell her Vicki G from MI sent ya !!! I'm hoping to make a road trip in the summer to visit her.

YEA! That's not too far (about 10 miles) from my mom (I'm in St. Louis, MO). Thanks for the heads up! Merry Christmas!

Love to hear of one opening. Too many are closing. Let's all support our LQS by purchasing at least $10 per month from them. If we all do that, then they will probably be able to make it through these tough times. And it will not hurt any of us.

We had 3 close in as many years in our area (just south of Detroit, mi). Deb's shop had a good customer base but our economy here is beating down all the small businesses. Her family is from IN so she made the decision to move back there. Plus, she said the economy is much better there. I wish her all the luck in the world.

I'm from northern Indiana so I've posted this to my FB page for my friends and family to see. I'll send out a reminder when the shop opens. Thanks for the link!!
