Anyone from Bend area that would like to join our group you're more than welcome. We meet once a month for a few hours, help with any quilting problems (or create some!) and eat -- of course we EAT!!!! We meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month from noon to whenever. We'd like more quilters to come!!! There are no rules, no dues. If you're interested, PM me!

I wish I were closer.I love the Bend area.If we stay in Oregon it is the area we are looking at going to.

I love it, too!!! Bend is busy busy busy -- crowded. We live in LaPine --- MUCH more relaxed and I'm within driving distance of 9 quilt shops!!!!! :)

Aw, I love it out there. I'd love to join you, but I moved away a decade ago. Portland is even busier then Bend! I do go out every year for the Sisters show though... wouldn't miss it!

Would you all consider moving to the Medford area?
|
greaaterexp -- I seriously HAVE considered Medford in the past!!!!! My friend is moving there in a few years (slowly building a home) and raves about it now -- makes me want to go there......but no, I love it here too much. In a few years, after battling snow all winter I may reconsider.

Hi Dee,
My name is Kitty and I live in Lapine. I was just wondering where you meet. I have been quilting for awhile and love it. I would love to meet fellow quilters in my area. This is a busy time of year for me so may have to wait until after the holidays. So glad to have found this group of local quilters. |
