Anyone going to the Sauder Village Quilt Show in Archbold Ohio?
 

My hubby agreed to take me camping this coming weekend (April 29-May 1) to Sauder Village for their big quilt show!
We have another couple coming down from Michigan to camp with us, so I will have a buddy to go to the show with.
But I wondered if anyone on QB is going?

My husband and I are going, like we have for the last 7 years. We make a day of it since we live just east of Toledo. He looks at some of the quilts and usually ends up sitting and talking to other husbands.
This was a guy that used to work for the railroad that my husband used to work for, he said they had quite a bit to talk about.'
I think he LIKES going, I usually take a photo to prove to him that he seems to (though he won't admit it) He said yesterday he told everybody at work that he's going to another quilt show
He seems to be interested in the talent it took to make the supports the quilts are hung from! Oh, he likes to drive his truck too.

My husband was planning to do the show with me until our friends decided to join us. Now they will do their "guy thing" I guess. My husband has never met a stranger and his buddy is a train buff and enjoys all kinds of train talk so if your husband would like to hang out with them I know they wouldn't mind.

We're going tomorrow, he'll be the one with a BP hat (his employer now) He used to work for CSX, at the coal docks where they took coal off the train and put it on ships

We joke about it now, he just can't get away from fossil fuels!

I bet he would love train talk

Oh, we will miss you then, we won't be there till Friday and going to the show on Saturday. Enjoy the show! Maybe we will catch you next time.
