Hi... Several of us from long island are going to the AQS quilt show in Pa on march 4th... We leave from Bay Shore at 5:30am, stop for breakfast along the way. We get to the show when it first opens. After the show we are planning to stop at Harold's a deli that makes great sandwiches in Edison NJ, then we head back to Long Island. We may have a empty seat available if your interested, we split the tolls and gas equally.

In center city -- right in the new Marriott Hotel, which was once the Watt and Shand department store. Only the facade remains of that store as it was incorporated into the Marriott's facade. March 16-19. You get tickets there. GO -- it's absolutely wonderful!

P.S. for those of you attending the AQS show in Lancaster, make it a point on either Friday or Saturday to go out the main doors and go diagonally across the street and into a Lancaster historical landmark - Central Market. If it's a nice day, buy your lunch there -- it will be much cheaper than the show area. There is also the quilting museum pretty much right behind the market, too. Very much worth seeing.

I have gone to the Lancaster show everyyear. Lat year the AQS took it over and it was the best ever. every year I sign up for classes. great show, classrooms need more lighting. Farmers Market accross the street is really good. parking is cheap 5.00 for the day.
