Billings Farm Museum VT Quilt Exhibit 2013
Last night was the opening reception for the annual quilt exhibit at Billings Farm Museum in Woodstock VT. As always it was a fun event. The exhibit goes on from this week until end of September, so do stop in if you are in that area. I always enjoy seeing the work that people do in my county. The local guild challenge was cute - everyone pulled three crayons out of a bag of Crayolas and made something using the colors they chose plus one other. This year we've been asked to "monitor" on a weekend if we'd like. I'll be there Sept 7. The museum is a great place for kids to visit as it's all about farm stuff with lots of cows, horses, and sheep on the premises. www.billingsfarm.org

I am all the way on the other side of the nation in Oregon but I sure would love to see our quilt show. Is there any chance of you sharing photos to let me see what other talented people are creating? I love going to those virtual quilt shows! Good luck with your exhibit.

Lynn I am a Vermonter transplanted to Denver. Thank you for sharing. It made me homesick but I love seeing anything pertaining to VT.

Ohhh, I am also a Vermonter, now living across the river. Billings is not to far from me, so I will put that on my places to visit list! Will try for Sept 7th!

MamaSue - would love to meet you! Judi and Mary Ellen - VT stays in your heart wherever you go. I did not get pics this time but hope to when I return.
