I will be in downtown Chicago September 16-20. Is there anything quilt related for me to see or do? Sure would appreciate some feedback. Thanks

Not quilt related, but if you have time, go visit Navy Pier! It's a pier right on the lake, great to just walk and watch the water, the people and there are shops there also.

I try to visit it each time we are in Chicago! DH's sister and family live there. We were there earlier this year, but didn't get to go to Navy Pier. :(

MUST find the popcorn stores for fresh carmel and cheese popcorn - get them mixed together - wait in line if necessary - you won't regret it.

I know most of us just want to do "quilty" things, but if this is your first visit to Chicago here are some must sees:

Field Museum http://www.fieldmuseum.org

Museum of Science and Industry http://www.msichicago.org/
Grant Park--Buckingham Fountain (especially at night) http://www.cpdit01.com/resources/buc...m_fountain.cfm

I could go on and on...so much to do there. I am a Chicago native. :D
