On Saturday, November 12 there will be an annual arts and crafts bazaar at the Owosso High School, 765 E. North St., from 10-4:00 in Owosso, Michigan

I'm not affiliated with this in anyway or with anything in Owosso. As a matter of fact, I live over an hour away. I love craft shows and plan on going with another QB member. Since it's close to the middle of the state I thought maybe some of our QB's who live in or close to the area might be interested in meeting.

I thought it might be a fun place to meet and there is a LQS just 10-15 minutes down the road in Ovid if anyone is interested. Lots of restaurants in the area also. I love going to craft shows - I always find some new idea I want to try.

I'm going to pin a little tag to my shirt that says, "QB". Is anyone else interested in meeting? If enough people are interested I could make 'reservations' at Applebee's or Bob Evans or one of the restaurants so we could all sit together. Or we could just grab a refreshment at the show.

I bookmarked this and I will see if I have transportation when the time comes...it's about 45 miles from me. Sounds like fun!

Since I'm a native of Owosso (born & raised) I wish I could go to this show! Moved to Florida 17 years ago and still have relatives in the area. Have a nice day if you do get to go. :thumbup:

is a nice quilt show here during Tulip Time the first week
of May.

I would love to be there. I was born in Owosso in 1930,yes a long time ago. Was born in a house on Alger Ave. across from the New Washington School. Went to Bible Holiness Seminary and graduated in 1948. Ah the good memories, I worked in the Kresge dime store. Back then we walked every where. Sure miss the town.

This is a great craft show. Proceeds benefit the band which is awesome! My daughter teaches here also, she got me hooked on this craft show. I plan to attend in the morning however we are going out of town in the late P.M. so probably can't meet afterwards.
I will look for the QB name tags! Show starts at 10:00 AM.

I just visited Elaine's Too quilt shop in Ovid, its great! So glad there is a quality shop in our area.

I sent you a pm for more info - I'm about 40 minutes from there and would love to meet some qb people!

Drat - I wish it was a little closer.... A bit over a 2 hour drive for me.

I'm going to be there around 10:00 am to do some craft show shopping. I'm going to wear a little tag on my shirt that says "QB" and encouraging others that can make it to wear a little tag too, maybe with a small piece of fabric?. I was thinking that any of us that are there could meet at the entrance around 12:30 and maybe go for lunch. The show is at the high school. I'm sure there will be some signs around the town as it's not that big. I hope so. The address is on the first post. Hope to see some QB'ers there. I've heard from 4 who are coming so far. Hope to see more.

Wish I could be there but I am working this weekend so I will be sleeping while you all are having fun.

I just realized I forgot to wear a tag with QB on it when I went to the show - duh! I was there at 10:00 AM. Oh well maybe next year.
