Is anyone planning to go to this:
http://www.coloradoquiltcouncil.com./cqcevents.html If you are going I'd like to explore the possibilities of getting together. It's not the ENTIRE purpose of my visit which is really to visit DGD in Lafayette. But Friday while she is at school and DIL is at work I will be having a good time shopping! |
Oh! Wish I could! But have fun!
|
Yes I plan to go and I would love to meet you.
|
To far for me :? Enjoy you adventure I know you are going to have a ball.

I just moved to the Northwest from Denver! Was a member of the Colorado Quilt Council. I went last year to this event. Plan on going early and spending a good deal of time. Nothing to rush through...you'll see tons of beautiful quilts and lots of vendor booths and a few quilt raffles to boot! Have fun!
|
I'm going to try to make it. Bettia and I have talked about going.
|
I live in Longmont and went last year. Don't know what plans are for this year for me but you will have a grand time. Be prepared to spend a few hours. Lots to see, enjoy and learn from.

I think I'll probably go. I loved the Loveland show. There were a whole lot of great quilts and vendors with new products and ideas. Even if you don't buy a thing it's worth it just for the inspiration!

So, I posted this message and then didn't know where it went. I just figured out clicking on "My Posts" DUH
The show is getting closer and I am getting excited for my trip! Anyone want to try to meet up at the show or somewhere? I will be staying in Lafayette. I do have a map to the show and kind of know where the fairgrounds is but other than that I don't know my way around there too well. |

Friday is my free day. DIL & 10 y.o. GD have no interest in going and are making other plans for me for Saturday.
I plan on going fairly early and can stay all day if I want. If not I know my way to Ft. Collins for more fun. |
Quilters, Plan a fun day Sat after Quilt-a-fair and come to northeastern Colo --about 2 1/2 hours ne of Denver or the other direction about 2 hours west of North Platte NE for our Corn Festival Quilt Show. It'll be a free day as no fees and no vendors, a little silent auction for the gift lookers.
If you prefer an aducational day our Colorado Quilting Coouncil judge will do open judging of the entered quilts starting at 9:30 am the Thurs Sept 23, including our new scrap quilt catagory. We also are open to all for enteries so PM me and I will get you the rest of the info. Also see the blog address under the Corn Festival Quilt Show thread. Kathy in Colo |
So, anyone want to join me on Friday?

I have never been to a show (shame!) so I don't really know where a good meeting place would be. I do know I want some tickets for the raffle quilt so maybe there?
I will PM you my cell # and maybe best is find each other by phone. I'm thinking I can be there right around opening at 9 as I will probably drop GD at school. |
