Durant, OK - Heritage Quilt Show, May 15 and 16
 

We hope anyone around the area will come. There are usually around 40 quilts and our featured quilter this year is Paula Platter, who in past years has shown and placed in the Houston Quilt Show. The show will be at the Clay Jones Community Center on south 9th street in Durant. The show will start at 10am and go until 6pm on Friday and 10am until 5pm on Saturday. Tickets at the door are $3. Door prizes will be given every hour. There will also be demonstrations by members each hour during the show.

National Traditional Country Music Association's 2014 Rising Legend Winner Tanner Young of Colbert, OK, will provide entertainment all day on Friday. He will have CD's for sale.

Sylvia, thanks for posting this show. I am from McAlester and maybe I can gather a few friends and come check it out.

Thanks for posting. I'm at Tushka and coming down every other day for PT since my knee replacement. If he doesn't wear me completely out, I'll stop by and check it out.
