The Show Opens in Just One Week!

Dates and Times

Friday, September 16, 10am to 6pm -- Show Open

Saturday, September 17, 10am to 6pm -- Show Open

Sunday, September 18, 10 am to 4pm -- Show Open


Location -- The Cobb County Civic Center is located at 548 S. Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA.

Admission -- A bargain at just $8!

Parking -- There is a large parking lot at the Civic Center, but spaces can be hard to find on Friday and Saturday mornings. Carpool if you can, so you won't need to walk from nearby lots!

Food -- No food or drinks are allowed in the Civic Center during the show.

Preview Night -- Thursday night, September 15 at 7pm in the Jennie T. Anderson Theater next to the Cobb County Civic Center. Doors open at 6:30pm. The Awards Ceremonies in the Theater are free and open to all. After the awards, the Civic Center will be open to view the Quilts. ECQG members and quilters with an entry in the show will have two free tickets for themselves and a guest to be admitted to the Civic Center Thursday evening. Additional tickets can be purchased at the door for $8.

Visit the vendors! 28 purveyors of all things quilting: fabric, machines, notions, jewelry, gifts, patterns, kits, and more.

Shop the Silent Auction! Take home a part of the show by bidding and winning one of these great little quilts made just for you by a member of the Guild.

Buy Raffle Tickets! Win the 2011 ECQG Raffle Quilt and be the envy of your friends and family! Just $1 a chance -- it takes only one ticket to win. Win one of the two great sewing machines donated by Atlanta Sewing Center and Ashby Sewing Machine Company. Win a basket filled with goodies provided by quilting companies and other local businesses that support the Guild.

Buy the DVD! Let us take the photos while you enjoy the Show. Just $8 ($10 if mailed) gets you pictures of all the quilts and bonus photos of the show, too.

Visit the Guild Welcome Area! Learn more about ECQG, join the Guild, plan to see your favorite national speaker.

Quilt Appraisals at the Show

If you'd like to know the value of a quilt you've made or a family heirloom, quilt appraiser Lynn Rinehart can help! Lynn will be at Georgia Celebrates Quilts and can appraise quilts hung in the show as well as those brought to the Civic Center during the show.

We're planning a meet and greet Sunday afternoon but if that doesn't work for you please plan on attending the show any other time that weekend ;-)

Also, I gave wrong directions to the show on the board on an earlier post so be sure to note that it is on South Marietta Parkway!! Use the address on initial entry here to mapquest/google map.

I'll be there all day Saturday in admissions, white gloving, and DVD sales so be sure to say 'Hello' and let me know you are a board member!
