Estate Sale - Burnsville, MN - 3 sewing machines - sewing supplies

Went to lunch with a girlfriend today and we came across this estate sale:

http://www.estatesales.net/estate-sa...e/55337/659004 (Scroll down for pictures.)

There were 3 sewing machines machines - 2 Singer one Kenmore - all in cabinets. One of the Singers is a treadle. All 3 machines were under $100.00. There was fabric, a big box of jeans for $3.50, thread, many other craft supplies.

I went to that site www.estatesales.net and entered quilt fabric in search box and up came a featured sale in Houma, LA for dec 16,17 & 18 is a lot of pictures, lots and lots of fabrics, and scroll all the way to end as is more pictures of fabric, yarns, crafts, bin of patterns, etc. I hope the cuddly bears in the box found a good home.

I receive a weekly list of local estate sales...have gone to a few, adopted several beautiful quilts for practically nothing....but never found any sewing machines worth bringing home.....didn't know about online info.....

I love that 1920 wedding dress!

Speaking of which, in my FB today was a memory from 2010 when my son was in 3rd grade. He was into coin collecting with my hubby back then. The memory was that they had gone to a monthly coin club meeting (son's first one). When they got home, I asked my son how it went.

"Boring."
"Why?"
"Because they were all from the 1920s."
"The coins?"
"No," he said, "the men."
