There was a show on tv at 1:30 today about a ruler for marking grids to get ready for quilting and also a red beam level to square the quilt. I need the name of the ruler and the kind of level square. If you saw this do you know the information, as I have searched and can not find the episode.

The red beam level can be found in most hardware depts. I am thinking cheaper than a LQS too :D:D:D

I've never looked it up myself, but Fons & Porter say they have a list on their website of all products used on their shows. Have you checked there?

Show # 1808 mentions a Straight Line Laser, available at most Hardware type stores. Is that what your looking for? Hope it helps?

The ruler might be called a "Fine Line Ruler" @ accentsindesigns.com maybe? This info is on the Fons & Porter sight under Program # 1808 - hope this helps you.

no that is not what I saw. It was a ruler that had a long round thingy lying on the edge of the quilt and the ruler was attached so that if you want to draw quilting grids for FMQ, it was always nice and straight. There was a left and right and she was using a disappearing blue pen on a gold quilt
