Folks,

Marti has finally gotten in touch with Karen at A Scarlet Thread in McDonough Ga. http://www.ascarletthread.com/

The only date she has available is Nov 4 th. Karen will hold this date for us, but we need to know how many will be able to make it and she is willing to do a presentation for us if we can decide what we want to do.

This is a chance for those of you who are South of Atlanta so please respond in this thread as soon as possible, thanks, Jo & Marti

I didn't get too many chances to go to the shop but I loved it. I went to their old location in the house not the new one. It was on the opposite side of Atlanta from me .

Time: 10 am until 3pm is what I scheduled but we should be able to stay as long as we want if we let them know.

Wish my friend and I could be there, but by then we will be back in Texas. We will be a Scarlet Thread Oct. 7 and 8. We go to McDonough to see family. But we always have to go to Scarlet Thread, great shop.

I will be there.

With that being a Friday I will say that I'm a maybe. If I'm working full-time by then I won't be able to come but if I'm still un/under employed I'll see y'all there!

I'm a maybe depending on our travel schedule, will know more as it gets closer, but i think it's an ok...altho if i come dh will be driving me as it's too far for me to do...but i'm sure they won't kick him out and i hope we won't either :lol: :lol:

They have a nice area with a TV set aside for hubbys but hope he'll want to join in on our fun and food too.

Probably, he's pretty social, i frequently call him "chatty cathy"....and he rarely turns down food
