The Gathering of Quilters 2013 in Auburn, IN
 

Noble Nimble Thimbles (my local club) will host The Gathering again this year.

Since we also hosted last year, we don't have quite enough new quilts for the show, so we are also displaying our antique and vintage quilts. It's going to be fabulous!

Some of us will be dressing in different period costumes, to celebrate our quilting heritage. If you see Rosie the Riveter, that will be me! My MIL worked in a local factory, assembling bomb casings during WW2, and was a quilter in her younger days.

We will have lots of vendors (including the shop where I work, Caroline's Cottage Cottons) and Karen Witt is our speaker.

Thanks for posting this, I will put it on my calendar! It's several hours away, so I may wait a bit to reserve a spot to see what our weather is doing at the end of February.

Registration deadline is this coming Thursday! We will sell tickets at the door, but you won't get a lunch unless you get your tickets by the 28th.
