He would absolutely love that. We used to live on 160 acres near Fawcett and had horses, chickens, lots of dogs etc and even though we have been off the farm for two years, he still says he misses the horses. I take him wherever he can go to ride the ponies, the most recent being at Northlands where they had pony rides during the Derby. He was in heaven.

No horses to the disgust of my kids, of course the odds are that I would be the one that would be taking care of them, I grew up on a farm in Ont and it was some of the best times in my life, there is just way more freedom out here.

Wish I was in your neighbourhood right now! Spent some time nursing at St Mary's in Camrose and I lived in New Sarepta then.
I try to come out to visit my brother and his family each year. They live in NE Edmonton, up by Londonderry mall.
Hope we can get together on my next trip!

I used to live by there myself. Just let me know when you are in the area and I will be sure to make time. The closest quilt shop that I know of is Sew Divine and it is at Manning Crossing.
