I'm new to the quilting board. Heck, I'm new to quilting!

But---I'm going to the Houston show and desperately need roommates. I'm arriving Sunday Oct 30th and leaving Sunday Nov 6th.

Someone on this board was looking for a hotel near the convention center and not having much luck, hopefully they will see your post and respond. Welcome to the board and quilting--you are going to have quilt overload in Houston but it an experience everyone should have at least once. I was lucky enough to go for 12 years when I lived there.

I have the pleasure (some days; not August) of living in Houston and going to the Houston Quilt Show; it is fabulous! Of course I always "overspend" so I must not go each and every year, lol.

I apologize if this is a duplicate posting. I couldn't tell if my earlier posting went through. Got a "did not work" message of some type (already forgot what it said!) on my computer.

I now have a reservation at Club Quarters, a hotel recommended on The Quilt Show forum by someone else wyo is staying there. It's about 5 blocks from the convention center and is approx. $126 for double occupancy with one queen bed.

I'm arriving on Oct 30 and departing on Nov 6.
