International Quilt Festival, California Style
 

Can anyone share information regarding the International Quilt Festival in Long Beach CA? I am wanting to attend this event in 2013 and would like feedback on places to stay in the area and things to do. Also share good/bad experiences. I've decided that I am going to try to attend all of the International Quilt Festivals in the future. So far I've been to Houston and had a blast! Thanks in advance for your input.

It is fun, you can find hotels/motels in every price range but nice if walking distance to the show and if you are driving be sure parking is included in the price they quote. The Aquarium of the Pacific is short walk but everything in the area is connected by cute trolleys that run all day and most of the night. There was an RV park that was near the start of the trolley line...not sure if it is still there.
