I'm a novice quilter...much better at shopping/buying than actually quilting. LOL
I LOVE to go to quilt shops. Where are some of your favorites in Texas and Oklahoma. I'm in the DFW area so can go about 6 hours in any direction...Oklahoma, Louisiana too. Thanks! Michelle |
I found a super quilt shop in Wills Point, TX today. The name of the shop is Country Junction Quilt Store. It's located at 124 North Fourth St in downtown Wills Point. In case you want to look up directions on the e-net, the zip code for Wills Point is 75169. Their phone number is 903-873-3555. They offer a large selection of quilting fabrics and an above average selection of 108 inch backing fabric in both prints and solids. They also have a large selection of patterns and lots of quilts on display. I had the opportunity to visit with Alice, one of the shop owners today and I found her to be very friendly, very helpful and she really made me feel welcome in the shop. It was well worth making the short detour off Interstate 20 to check out this shop. I will be going back.

My favorites are Flying Needle in Stephenville best prices cheap great classes decent selection and the gals in there are the best in 100 mile radius. Cabbage Rose but their fabric went up to 9-10 bucks in the new building but they carry lots of Moda and Designer Prints. And Country Stiches in Burleson but they are not very friendly but have the best selection of Western/Texas fabrics.
