Hi Girls!

I am in the Portsmouth, Ohio area, but I can throw a rock at South Shore KY in Greenup County from my front porch! I'd love to be included!!! Let me know when you settle on a date!!

I'm in Cincy so if you wanted to go we could carpool :)

Please count me in ... the sooner I know the date the better. Sounds like Lexington would be a central location, but I'm not sure how many quilt shops are in that area ... and since I don't know the area I can not say :/

Now if you were coming to Cincy ... that would be different!

Keep me posted and anyone in Cincy wants to car pool, let me know ... I assume this is like a day trip?

I am in Eastern Ky., I wouldn't mind to drive as far at Lexington/Lousiville. Thats 3-4 hours from me,most of it on that crappy Mountain Parkway! It would be hard for me to do much more. Lexington/Louisville is pretty much in the middle of the state, right?

I would love to try and visit some quilt stores during this, as I don't get to go places like this much.

Lexington is in the center, but Louisville is another one to two hours away from Lexington depending on how fast you drive :) I would love to go end of Jan or sometime in feb. would be good.

Louisville is one hour and 15 minutes from Lexington.

Carol, you would be welcome to go anywhere with me as long as you can get in my Grand Cherokee. I would most likely be going through Lexington, as I live in Richmond.

There are several quilt shops in Lexington and the surrounding areas. Quilters Square, Sew A Lot and Q First in Quilting. About an hour to the east in Mt. Sterling is Sterling Quilt Shop, less than that is A Stitch in Time in Winchester, and Berea is about an hour south of Lexington. There are several shops there and lots to look at, including the Kentucky Artisan Center. Plus Hancock's, Joann's and Hobby Lobby. Sandy's Sewing Center is also there, but I wouldn't classify her as a Quilt Shop.

Lexington is very easy to get to no matter which direction you come from. I live in Richmond, which is about 20 miles south of Lexington.

Sounds like fun. I can make it in January if the weather holds out. I live near Louisville, but could travel to Lexington or Bowling Green or Owensboro. Will keep watching to find out more.
