Sorry, I should have said hello, and welcome from Grand Blanc, Michigan!

Thank YOU!!! We never hear about the quilt shows until after they're over, it seems. Do you know the cost of admission? Is there a place to eat lunch there or close by? Or a website with more information?

lenette 04-27-2011 07:49 AM

We should come up with something that would identify us as members of this board, so we could approach each other when we go to this show!

Other than that, my mind is a blank. Any ideas?

indigolily 04-27-2011 07:52 AM

Cost of admission is $6. There will be food and drinks available to purchase. More info. at www.capitolcityquiltguild.org. Hope you can make it!

Thanks for all the info. Great idea lenette to try to connect. Let's try to come up with a plan.

I have a suggestion as to how to recognize people when we meet up at a quilting show.......however I'm ignorant as to how to actually implement it. If ANYBODY BUT ME can draw a computer screen with a keyboard, and make it brooch size, it could be copied from the computer screen and each of us could make our own brooch from it. I myself don't draw, nor do I know how to do anything but emails on the computer, oh and I do know how to click on PRINT, so I'm not able to do this. But if anybody else is able and willing, then have at it. Oh, I forgot, it would have to have QB GUILD on the screen, and then a space needed for each person's name. Then as one walks around, one would notice this brooch on another one's lapel, and recognize the computer screen with QB GUILD on it, and waa-la!! A new friendship is established. That's all I have to say about that. :)

I don't draw either, but my daughter does, so I can ask her tomorrow night if she will do this for us, unless someone else wants to try it.
