hi! i originally posted looking for quilters under another topic. brenda & i have been quilting now for a while together. we met on this board. we've even gone to lancaster,pa. to the quilt show. there is another show coming up in hershey 7/28 that we will be going to. if anyone is interested we will be staying overnight. expenses are split down the middle. i am always @ sew what's new. you can mention my name rosemarie to them. i cannot meet on any weekends. we have a boat and that is where i will be for the summer. once school starts, i watch my granddaughter after school, so 1:30 is not good for me. i'd rather continue meeting 10:30 til whatever, as we do now.

Sounds the best to me as well. Weekends I'm usually not around, but I would be if necessary.

i'd love to meet up w/other quilters. but as i said summer weekends are not good and during the week starting sept. i have my granddaughter after 2. what we were doing is taking turns meeting in each others houses. the time was 10:30 til 2 more or less. most weeks i have my granddaughter. sometimes more ea. week, sometimes less. usually after 5 i'm kinda set in for the night. would love to chat about it. if anyone wants to get together just to meet, i'm certainly willing to do it this week, as i do not have my granddaughter. good anyday except thurs. i live in west islip.

Perhaps it might be better if you created another new thread so that if other people (those that may be looking to meet on the weekends or at the shop) are interested in the original discussion they will not confused by your different proposal.
