I hope you are able to find a quilting buddy! I used to have two, one moved away and one passed away. Now I have no one to get excited about fabrics with anymore. : (

Kind of wished I lived in Portland Maine too! I love Maine and Portland is such a cool place. Went to many SeaDogs games there one summer! : )

I wish I lived near you too. I recently relocated to Texas. I belong to the American Sewing Guild, but the closiest chapter is 30 miles away. My mom moved her, but she doesn't quilt. I would love to have a quilting buddy to do "girl things' with.

I won't even go to classes because I just refuse to lug my machine anywhere, but I have a guest room if you want to come to Alabama.

Have you found a quilting buddy yet? Do you need them to come to you or could you go a little distance to meet them? I live in Biddeford and wondered if we could meet each other and possible sew together once in a while.

I wish I had found this board when I was in Plantation for the past 3 months. I could have been your Quilting buddy I even took my machine with me. I was staying at Staybridge Suites. I was alone everyday Hubby had work there. I just went along to get out of the snow here in Pa. I did get to the once Upon a Quilt store on Griffin Rd and Fabrics on University Dr sorry I missed you :-(
