We just attended the Manteca Guild Quilting and Doll show. The ladies in the guild are wonderful and I had a great rapport with them. I enjoyed doing some hand-quilting too. I have heard from several vendors from other shows that they are a very nice and friendly group. I am truly considering joining their guild. The quilt and doll exhibits were beautiful. DH and I had a great time.

I attended on Saturday! It was a great show, one of my favorites because it is so close to home. The vendors and their own boutique seemed even better than usual this year. It could be that I've now been quilting a year and appreciate them more! Let me know your opinion of the guild if you join. It would be a bit of a drive to do evening things, but I am interested.

Dyer804, They meet at a church on Tuesday mornings and just have fellowship. You can bring your project or see what everyone else is doing. This is the reason why I want to join. Thursday evenings would be a bit hard for me too because I don't like to drive at night. I am trying to recruit my DH to do the driving. I plan on going next week. I will let you know how it goes :)
