MQX Quilt Festival - New England, April 9-12

Is anyone planning to go to MQX East in Manchester, NH this year? Interested in meeting there perhaps?

It's at the Radisson on Elm Street. Classes start on April 9th, and the public show starts on April 10th. The $12 admission is good for all three days.

I usually try to go seeing that the show is only 45 minutes from home. Thursday or Friday usually works best for me. Please note that April 9 (Wednesday) is ONLY for classes - the show is not open on that day.

Definitely going on Thursday with a gal from my guild. I've been going to this show since they were a tiny show up in Laconia, NH...great show! If you have a chance to get to it, do so.

I am going, on Saturday :) from open till I get too tired to walk around anymore. I need to check out some new LA rulers and pick up some specialty threads (Fil-Tec are gonna be there ;) aka Glide thread)

Well that didn't work out to well timing-wise for getting together, did it. I'm going on Friday. LOL

I used to go when it was in Laconia, too, ILoveToQuilt. The good ol' days, eh? I'm just glad it came back home to New Hampshire. :)

I will be there on Saturday. I couldn't get the time off work to attend any classes.

What a FANTABULOUS show! OMG...such gorgeous quilts! Wow, wow, wow! Makes me wish I had the room for a longarm machine. Great vendors, too. Not much fabric, but lots of stuff for machine quilting (of course), lots of threads, and of course, many different brands of quilting machines. Well worth the $12 admission fee. Note to those who are going in the next couple of days: get there VERY early as the parking lot ($5 for the day) fills up early and you will have to park on the street and feed the meters. :( Enjoy the show! Wish I could go another day...maybe I can just sneak away tomorrow for a few hours {sigh}???

I can't wait to go now! I'm SO excited!!!

I took some pictures at the show. What I didn't realize when I got home, was that I actually took over 150 pics! LOL!

I put them all on a page if you would like to see them: http://whitemagicwoman.com/MQX-Quilt-Show/
