Hi:

What did you buy from Sew and Vac? Ruthie is a sweetheart, love their shop.

Just to clarify...There is only ONE Keepsake Quilting. It's not a chain or anything, just the one and only, super spectacular Keepsake Quilting. Accept no substitute! ;)

Hi

Yes there is only one Keepsake but spectacular is not my description. Too much too busy no customer service overwhelming. Give me a small shop with good customer service.

I went to Keepsakes today...They were wonderful to me...I had ton of questions. I also used my go machine today...very, very little waste. I used two dies. One that came with the kit and at 6 1/2 square. less waste than if I used a cutter...I did cut my fabric into 7 inch strips before I place them in the die. then any scraps I recut with the starter die the small shapes.

I could not agree more. I was there for over an hour, and was not greeted or talked to once. Just a bunch of women and one man sitting around gossiping.

That said I do love there website and catalogs.

If you are ever in the area though, it might be worth finding (it's in the boonies) because the area is absolutely beautiful.

I have always found the customer service at KQ to be top of the line...all seasons, lots of customers in the store or only me. They are always the best, in my experience, and have been for decades. Sorry you have been disappointed with them, joturner.

Hi:

I live here in Sandown NH so Keepsake is about 1 1/2 hours up the road.

I work at the Sewing Diva Quilt shop in Derry NH. She has a nice little shop.

I've been to the store a few times and had absolutely wonderful service. Since I live in the mid-west, they let me order out of the store then they ship it to me. They help me put fabrics together, give me encouragement on my projects and probably more importantly, when I order online, the service is superior to others. Once I had they help me find a pattern they no longer had in the catalog or on line. They found it and had it within days. I have no complaints with Keepsake..........

oh gosh, i have had the same experience at keepsake every time I went there and lived in NH all my life except for the past 3 years. I found that the smaller shops were more helpful especially when you are beginner and starting out. one of my favorite shops is pick the Bunkhouse in lydenboro, if you go, tell Wanda I said hello!
