North Central Washington 10 Day Shop Hop - Sept 27 thru Oct 6, 2012
I am so excited to do my first full shop hop. It's going to be a 2-day trip for me to get to all of the stores but I can't wait! I plan on collecting the blocks from each shop to assemble into a quilt. Who knows? I might even win one of the prizes. :)

I did it a few years ago and it was fun. My LQS, Quilt Crossing in Odessa, is listed as participating, but she is not, since she is trying to sell the shop or will just close all together. I must tell you, it is a really long trip to make the circle and with the price of gas, it is going to be expensive. If you can do it, get 3 other quilters to go with you, spend the night somewhere in the middle (share the room) and finish the circle the next day. Have fun!

The shop hop starts Thursday. I am helping out at my LQS for the first 3 days and then I am off to shop hop myself. Ooooh, I can't wait. I went to the quilt show in Portland this past weekend and didn't buy any fabric since I knew the hop was coming up. Talk about self control!
