Hi to all of you who responded to my earlier post about a get together and to any new Illinoisans who would like to meet and greet with us!

I am tentatively scheduling a get together at my home in north central Illinois! It will be on Thursday, January 27th at 10 am give or take :)

I have a spacious home with more than enough room to set up long buffet tables so you can all bring your machines!

I plan on just relaxing at my machine and talking with new friends about any new techniques or challenges we are having with current WIP's.

Hey, I know where Mendota is. I've got an Aunt Wannie that lives there. Well, actually she isn't my aunt but the aunt of my best friend and that's all I know her by. I'd love to come but I've got a dr. appointment that I can't reschedule. It's my pre-op physical and since the operation is Feb. 3rd there wouldn't be time. Maybe next time.

Any time you'd like to come over just send me a pm and we can schedule something! How close to Mendota are you?

I think it's an hour or two away. I live about half way between Champaign and Danville then a little South. You should come to Danville to a quilting retreat sometime. Threads of Time is a wonderful place to stay and quilt.

Weather permitting I will be there. I will see if ConnieQuilts can get off work also and we can go together. Can you PM me directions? I live in DeKalb and have the general idea where Mendota is but once we get there where do we go?

I'm planning on coming. Weather pending. Please let me know what I can bring!

I would love to be joining everybody, but unfortunately I work full-time. Keep me in mind though as there are sometimes that I have a day off or if you ever get together in the evenings or on weekends. Hope you all have a great time!!
