Oaks, pa. Quilt show
 

i went to the oaks show this weekend w/liqs bus trip. had a nice time. spent alot more money than i thought i would. but it was worth it. the day was great and good to get away.

I went down with friends and combined the weekend trip with a visit to DD's as she lives less than 15 mins from the convention center. As I said in another thread, I loved the vendors, but not the quilts. It was nice to find many of the little things I wanted (specific needles, silk thread, etc.) without having to pay shipping for them, but had I gone only to view the quilts, I'd have been disappointed.

As it's just a few minutes from DD's, if it fits in the schedule, I'd go again - but if I had to pay for a hotel, I'd definitely skip it.

i dont go t look at the quilts. from what i saw i thought they were beautiful. especially the dragon one. i go for notios and to see what's new and exciting. didnt find too much exciting but that didnt stop me from spending money. lol!
