Going on a trip to Omaha........does anyone know of quilt shops in the area?

I have a daughter who has lived there for 14 years, but I only visit a few times a year, so am not familiar with locals that are not JoAnne or Hancock or Michael's. Maybe someone else can help.

Hello, I've been in Omaha for about two months now for work and will be here for four more weeks before I go back home, well, I have visited a few of the quilt shops here, my favorite is the Country Sampler in Papillion, NE. Nice selection and great customer service. The original Country Sampler is in Omaha, it is bigger with even more selection, but staff are not as nice or helpful in my opinion. I love the COUNTRY SAMPLER in omaha...I could spend hours there

Be sure and hit Country Sampler on 120th & Center. I have a daughter that lives out there and while we were visiting we went to Country Sampler. They had a pattern that I wanted but they were all sold out so they called their sister store Giles. They had one so they pulled it off the shelf, put a sticky note with my name on it and kept it for me. I was a perfect stranger to them so they went above and beyond with customer service as far as I'm concerned. Not everyone would to that. I also loved Hancock's. I left a lot of money there but it is mind boggling. Have fun. patti

Oh goody. I may be making a trip to Omaha in the next month or two. If I do I also want to drive down to the UN to see some of that massive collection. I gather that one has to arrange to see them prior to dropping in. I'll book mark this topic.
