We had so much fun! Becky and I ran around with Mom on Thursday. We did the show (Mom knows everyone...we got introduced to several quilting 'celebrities') Back to her house for lunch and a peek at her quilts then off to Hancocks and Eleanor Burns, and Murray Sewing Center. Friday, we all met and did the show...Bonnie isn't telling the whole deal...she stopped and made an awesome deal with Juki and bought one of their show display machines. We left her at the Convention Center after lunch outside sitting in the sun and the 3 of us went to the Pavillion and the Rotary Club show. Great quilt show!

I'm so curious which Juki Bonnie purchased... I'm a juki-junkie myself and am guessing it's the new J-150QVP?? Or maybe the TL220QVP S (sit-down)?? I'm afraid to spend too much time with either of these two knowing they will just follow me home.. Saw them all at the Chicago show last week

Hey Christine... I bought the QVP2200 sit down long arm. Already have the TL2010Q and love it. The 2200 is more than twice the size! I set it up and hope to start quilting something this weekend. I think I shocked my friends when I bought the sit down during the show! But I had planned to give it a serious look, and they made me an offer I could not refuse. And... zero percent financing with no money down! Yikes!

Congratulations! I'm so excited for you! I've heard over and over that the shows are the place where the best offers are made. So glad you've got a new, wonderful toy and I can't wait to see the beauties you create with it :)
I've played on the Juki long arms at a few shows this year and really liked the sit down too. I love roaming around and test driving all the long arms (sit down and stand up) at the shows. It's the easiest way for me to get the feel of what kind of car I'm going to buy when I'm old enough to drive :) Congrats again - I hope you have tons of fun with your new QVP2200S and look forward to the pics! Bonnie, I looked at the QVP2200 and the TL2010Q this weekend in Arlington, TX, at the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo. The dealer is here in Texas in McKinney. The price on the 2200 was 5K, and the 150QVP was $2900. That includes delivery and set up since I live in the area. Did you quilt with the 150QVP? The price seems much lower than what I've seen online. Someone had already bought the floor model today, and they were waiting for the woman to pick it up. I plan to go to the store this week to play with it some more. Thanks in advance for any review you have of the machine. Suzanne from Texas

Hi Suzanne... I don’t know if I’ve ever seen the 150QVP. I have been quilting on a 2010Q for several years. I like the Juki’s a lot.
