For all of you who have made a purchase at a Micheal's Store within the last year, Micheal's was the victim of fraud involving customer information stolen by skimmers. I am sure you probably heard about this in the news. Since Wednesday, June 15, 2011, the state of Oregon has had several victims of theft from bank accounts using ATM's in southern California. PLEASE check and monitor your accounts for fraudulent withdrawals. People here have lost large sums of money from their accounts. If you see anything wrong, immediately call your bank! For the record Micheal's Stores are working very diligently with authorities to apprehend these criminals. Play safe, and avoid the "frogging". :thumbup:

They sent out emails a while ago announcing that they had been hacked. A lot of stores sent me emails regarding being hacked at the same time :evil: Thanks for the heads up, I'll be looking.

Thank goodness I don't have large sums of money to lose! I will, however, monitor my credit cards!
