I have to wait around today for a repair guy who is coming between 8-12. Hopefully gets here in time for me to meet y'all for lunch!

I am taking my DD to the quilt show. It should be lots of fun as it will be the first for both of us. We live in Baker County so it will not be a long trip for us. Please let me know how we can id each other. Pam

I hear that there is a dollar off coupon in the paper today.Going to go look for it NOW.

Next year, dh and I are planning on moving to the Spring Hill area and I hope to get to go to the show then! Hope everyone has fun and takes lots of pictures!

I agree, if we can come up with a way to ID each other let me know, as of yet I'm not sure which days I will be able to make it, but I would love to meet some other board members while Im there.

has anyne figured out hwo or what to use to identification to each other. I think it shouls be something very bright.I.e lime green or floresence orang ect. wild nad bright. just not flowers or tieras ect.

I don't know what to ID anyone by, but DD and I are definitely going on Thursday and are making a day of it. I can't wait to see her face.

My DD is a redhead and looks like she is about 25 tops. I however am a super short dirty blonde, disabled and walk slowly at all times. I will be looking for you MaryMay. Pam

Pam, I should tell you that I am short also. 5"1" maybe

I am 5'4 and 1/2" DD is only 5'4" so short is a way of life.

I have glasses also.

5'4" is tall to me.

Iam 5'6" and wear glasses and have brown hair that still on the top of my head. regworing mustache i realy do look like my avatar. I am not sure as yet what day or days will be going. I will try to wear something easily recognizable.

I'm pretty certain I'll be going Saturday, but I won't be able to make it until the afternoon.

Wow, lots of Orange Park/Clay County folks on this website. I live in Fleming Island. Do any of you guys belong to a quilt guild? I am the only one who sews in our circle of friends so I need to find a quilt group.

I'm like you, I'm the only one in my circle of friends that sews, and I'm new to quilting.
The only quilt group I belong to is this forum =)

My friends eyes glaze over when I even mention quilting.
They just dont know what they are missing!

LOL Too funny. I can relate; I no longer even mention my quilting for the same reason. The St. Augustine quilt guild was recommended to me and I think I am going to try to go to one of their meetings. It is on SR 16 at the fairgrounds so not a bad drive from Fleming Island. I spoke to a couple of the ladies at the QuiltFest yesterday at their table and they were encouraging.
