Those who live in/near southeast kansas or travel thru here there is a new quilt shop in Edna, KS called "Quilters Patch" and a store in Coffeyville, KS called "V&S" gives 10% off to quilters who have a guild card for fabric purchases. She also has alot of embroidery threads and unique items.

Wish I lived closer. I-35 is about as close as I get and that's when I'm on my way to visit my daughter in Iowa. It's a long drive without any side trips.

@ nlgh: understand....getting to the destination to see dear loved ones that live far away; know I would be the same way.

@lovemypts: no I did not know this. Is this sign off hwy 400 from the east? that is the direction I come from (live in se,ks). I will take a short jog off the hwy next time I am headed into Wichita. Thanks for letting me know. My sister says she stops for yard sales just as much as I stop for quilt shops!
