Yes, quilting is strong in Colorado and lots of places to browse in on the front range. But, will save you a few minutes, Great Am. Quilt Factory closed this early spring 2011 and Emily's Basket is having a closing sale right now, many others are still there and going strong. Enjoy your trip. Kathy

Does anyone know about Harriet's treadle art shop? It looks like it is just off the interstate and about 10 miles (or minutes) from the airport.

NOOOOOOOOO !!!!! I live in Las Vegas and spend a lot of time in Denver. I'll be moving there next year. I LOVE Emily's Sewing Basket! Such a wonderful staff! Sorry to see them go.

Another favorite place is Golden Quilt Co. It's just a block away from the Rocky Mtn quilt Museum on a great touristy main street in Golden.

Need any more suggestions? Along the "front range" of Denver and into Wyoming there are many very nice shops. You'll have a good time exploring, I'm sure!

I loved Great American Quilt Shop when I got to Denver, but they sent email out several months ago saying the shop was closing (wish I could have been there for their sale ).
