Quilt show, Birmingham NEC
 

I am excited to be going to my first quilt show at the NEC in Birmingham tomorrow with my neighbour. I have been to knitting and needlecraft shows but am looking forward to the first dedicated quilt show in the morning. I have already planned my packed lunch and my neighbour has planned her food too.. I have set my budget and can't wait to buy some super fabric and other bits and pieces..

i am so jealous! The San Diego Quilt Show isn't happening this year and I missed the big show in Long Beach because I fell and broke my left wrist. The next big show is The Road to California in January.

Please let us know what you thought of your first show. I found my first large one in Houston, TX, to be overwhelming, between the number of quilts on exhibit and the many vendors onsite. A program was an absolute necessity to figure out who I wanted to visit and where they were located. But overall, I enjoyed it a bunch. I went back for several years. Covid shut down so many things.
