♥ Quilt Show Columbus, Ohio June 14, 15 & 16, 2012
 

I am planning on going to the Columbus, Ohio Quilt Show and was wondering who else is planning on going to the show. Also what days will you be there?

I hope to meet more quilt board members there and maybe we can set up a meet and greet.

I think my quilt guild might decide to go on Sat. There are 3 or 4 board members in that group. I will let you know - I should know something by Mon.

I am planning o going. Not sure yet what day. I would love to meet up with people. I met a fellow board member at the international quilt show in Cincinnati. She was from Michigan. We met and ate lunch. It was really nice. It is about 11/2 hour from here.

My Quilting buddy and I are planning to go Thursday. Our LQS is taking two bus loads of people there for the day.

I'm planning on going. I'm in town and have some flexibility as far as the day goes-I'm going when Craftybear is coming, as we talked before about meeting up at the show.

Wow it is almost here! And I realized I have a meeting on Thurs. so that might limit my availability later in the day on Thurs. KayArh had mentioned on fb that she was planning on coming with a few others -I think on Sat.
This will be my first time at this venue.

Sounds like there are going to be a few of us there on Friday! Too bad we don't have something that wil designate us from this board so we could find each other among all the people! i know it has been brought up before about a name tag type thing.

Well we should try to meet up at a certain time. May be we could all make a name tag with a large QB and our board names. I just talked to craftybear and she can't come. :(.
Anyway I think I read that lectures are free this year, I think there is one at 11 and one at 1. I saw some class ends at 11:30 and a class medley ends at 12 noon. there is a silent auction on the show floor. What if we try to meet at the silent auction area at Noon?

Also anyone going we could exchange cell phone numbers if we have them through PM and have that as a backup contact.

:( Just found tonight we cannot make it to the quilt show in Columbus.
As luck wwould have it, my sister's car needed some repair and $$$ came
into play - we were looking forward to going but one of our friends wasn't able
to go so that had us kinda down. Now we decided that we will just head out to
Holmes county and go to the quilt shops there. it is a lot closer than Columbus and
we will try next year. So to all of you going - have fun and take lots of pictures!!!!

I was there two days and missed this thread ! Was posting on main catagory, would have loved face to face hellos. Enjoyed the show. Awesome time !
