Yes, I am going to Houston. Have not been there in a couple of years. Don't plan to purchase much, not looking for anything special.

Correction:
the Greater Houston Quilt Guild show is THIS WEEKEND (SEPT. 9 & 10) - TODAY from 10-5 and Tomorrow (Sat) 10-4 at the Stafford Civic Center in Stafford (on Murphy Rd/FM 1092) just a couple of miles south of the Southwest Freeway/59. Should be a good show and vendors. Admission $5 :)

I thought about going to Houston, but my daughter is having a baby on or about Oct. 26, and I will be in Denver helping with my 3 and 4 year old grandchildren (yea!). I can hardly wait to see them, and it's only been 3 months since last time.

Would love to attend the San Antonio show, but have a precious grandson who will be turning 2...can't miss that!
Really did enjoy the Brazos Bluebonnet Quilt Show & the Caldwell Quilt Show today. Even got to check out the Kolache Festival for a while. Beautiful day & nice crowds at each event. Saw lots of beautiful quilts on display. Thanks to all for sharing their works of their hands with the rest of us. We are blessed to gaze upon it.
