I may be coming to Raleigh in August. Are there any fabric shops that I must see while in the area??

If you have time go up to Wake Forest, just a few minutes north of Raleigh and see Quilts Like Crazy. The people are so sweet. Also south of Raleigh (in Apex) iis a wonderful shop called Plain and Simple. They are in the most recent edition of McCalls Quilt magazine. The front of the magazine says top 11 Quilts stores and it's on sale now. If you want more names let me know and I'll send you some others. I'm home viisting family this weekend, but I'd be glad to get that info for you.

The ones I've been to are Wish Upon A Quilt, Carolina Sew n' Vac, and Sew Unique. There's also a place in Chapel Hill I haven't been too yet Thimbles Pleasures. Have fun shopping! Ooooh let me know when you are in town, I'll go with you.

World of Bernina is a good one too. They service my machine while I shop!
