Does anybody know of any held within UK? As much as I would love to travel all over the wordl to attend them, work and family are a problem. :thumbup:

I live fairly near to you both, Tadcaster between Leeds and York. There is a retreat in Cumbria, if you google Quiltworks there is more info. I should add that I've not been, any I've looked at seem to be very expensive. I often go on 1 day courses, google Silver Thimble to see details. In the meantime - happy sewing!! :-)

Maggi Martin in Scarborough does weekend and the ocasional week retreats, great value for money. She not only teaches you, but does all the cooking as well. If you Google maggiemartinscraftworkshops, so get you to the website. Only takes max 6 at a time and alwasy good fun. Going next month on recommendation
