Savannah, GA quilt show
 

Is anyone going to the quilt show in Savannah this weekend?
If so, the Peninsula Modern Quilt Guild has a special exhibit of modern quilts. Check it out. We are in Virginia but because it is a new show & modern quilts are gaining in popularity, Mancuso invited us to show our quilts. Wish I could go, but just got home today from a quilt retreat. Please let me know if you see our quilts.

i went to the show this weekend with a friend of mine.
your guild's quilts were lovely and quite impressive! :thumbup:

the promoters did not put much effort into advertising the show.
they didn't contact any of the local guilds, let alone invite any to create special displays. :hunf:
truth be told, there were a lot of things they didn't do, so the turn-out was not at all what i expected.

the good news is that they have apparently already made the commitment to do another show next year.

i look forward to seeing more wonderful quilts from the "Peninsula Moderns" then, too! :)

I too, went to the show in Savannah. GA. I was very disappointed in the turnout for the vendors. Not many folks there and no raffle quilts.
