|
I live west of Coulee ND n have my own studio
|
I wish I lived next door to you. It would be nice to have a quilting buddy.
|
I would love to join you. Travel time would be a problem

Is there a quilt guild in your area? Here's a list: http://www.quiltguilds.com/north-dakota.htm You have to scroll down a little ways. Quilt guilds are a great way to find a quilting buddy.

I very sincerely hope you find your Quilting Buddy... i am so blessed to have mine live right next door and we have shared many of hours of quilting and friendship in the 21 years since she became my neighbor!
I just know there is someone out there who would love to make quilts with you! Let us know what happens 😊 |
Good luck! I recently posted a Craig's List ad in my area looking to use a home long arm set-up. I'm willing to pay but hoping for a win/win situation like maybe I could house-sit and use the system while they travel or something like that.
I put in a part that I'd also be glad just to find someone to quilt down my donation tops, they could choose the charity to give them to, I just like to piece and I keep reasonably busy. My final thought was that I didn't expect to find my BFF quilting buddy but a girl could dream! Keep dreaming. And at least we have this forum for virtual buddies. |

Me, too.
Sigh. |
I would too but am in TX, so not very doable. Good luck; hope you find someone.
|
Oh I hope you find a buddy. How close are you to a LQS? Maybe you could inquire there. I did a search for ND quilt shops and see that Minot has 3 of them...maybe they know of customers that could be close to you. Good luck...I'd love to be your QBuddy, too.
|
Try asking at the quilt shops in Minot. Julie at Bernina Plus could be helpful. Hope you find someone to quilt with. Maybe start a sewing group in your area. I belong to a group that gets together to sew and it is quite a bit of fun. Good luck in your search.

I'm a lonely quilter, also. I'd love to be your buddy. ... But I'm way to far away!
You'll find lots of friends here to share you're ups and downs with via this board, including me. :) |
I'd love to find a quilting buddy! Ontario, Canada is a long way from you, though. Good luck!

Oh if i quilted more often i'd love to quilt with you over internet or email. but i'm so slow these days and sometimes must make myself go into my sewing room. i do find more things I want to make, but making them is something else.
i made friends in online swaps, international ones long ago. but I do hope you find someone, near you or online to work with daily if possible. Quilting can be such fun. Good luck!!! :sew: |
amyjo.........this is the number one reason I got my Yorkie as a ESA" emotional support animal. Lonely! Even tho I do quilt semi regularly with a few of the local gals, their are days I am still lonely, even tho hubby is in his man cave.
I was president of a large guild and don't want the drama of women bickering and backbiting any longer. Life is too short. Wish you the best in finding someone in your town. |

I totally understand. My quilting/sewing buddy moved to Phoenix. But I go to visit her a couple times a year and we spend 5 days sewing up a storm. When she comes here her family demands her attention and has her going in all different directions, so it's just easier to for me to go there.
|
I meant to ask, who is your Moose buddy?? So cute.
|
I don't have a quilting buddy either. I've tried to get people I know interested in taking up the hobby, but so far haven't had any luck with that either. I hope you find someone!
