Any one from the board that's in Northern Indiana going? Libby Lehman will be there on Wed., but I can't go until the next day. Would really like to have seen her.

You can check the shipshewana quilt show site to see the replacement etc.

Libby Lehman is in rehab recovering from an aneurysm. Ricky Timms has been posting about her situation since it happened in early May. I think there is also a Caring Bridge site for her.

I'm going & meeting a friend. My Wed evening lecture with Libby Lehman was cancelled. They have a replacement, but they combined the 2 Wed lectures into 1 daytime, which I can't make. But I will see the quilt show & likely do the shop hop. :-)

Boy, talk about a day late and a dollar short:o I had no idea about Ms. Lehmans troubles. When I had read about the show, there had been nothing posted about the changes.

There is also the Topeka or now it is called Honeyville Quilt show about 6 miles south of Shipshewana. Quilts for sale and some nice vendors and some quilts for show only also. Follow signs to Eden Worship Center (EWC) where everything is spread out in an old school which is now a church.

The show I mentioned is today (Tues) and Wed onliy, then Shipshewana starts.

I was there today on a bus so won't be going to the show but saw lots of quilts shopping today and the 2 shops in town have lots to sell them. I also brought some home too!

I plan on going to the show tomorrow (Wednesday) around 10. I'm going to a few shops and maybe the
Topeka show.

Read the blurb about Libby.......my daughter had the same medical problem 10 yrs ago....doing fine now...took about 1yr go various therapies.....my concern was the fact that she only has Medicare w/out any supplement ins....that appears to be rather short-sighted. Although I do know she is self employed I would think her association with thread company would have availed her to some sort of additional medical coverage.....just thinking out loud.....I sincerely wish her well and will contribute to her account

I went to that site and then wanted to get further info from caring bridge site so went there but when I had to log in with email addy and password I clicked out......why is that necessary......I do not want to give my email addy to everyplace I go...and actually is it not there somewhere to those who know how to dig deep enough for that info.....I just wanted to know her progress....but oh well forget it!

Just got home from there. Had a great time and saw many beautiful quilts. Enjoy yourself if you go.
