Dh and I are taking the Amtrak train from Chicago in June. Can anyone recommend some quilt shops within 50 miles of Auburn, Puyallop?

Yes there are lots of quilt shops within 50 miles of Auburn and Puyallup. The best way to see a list of all of them is to go to the Western Washington Shop Hop website. It will give you the complete list with addresses and phone numbers. The shop hop is in June also. They are a blast to do. Anyway welcome to Washington when you get here. If you go to Seattle while you are here I would definitely recommend that you stop in at the quilt shop there. It is called Undercover Quilts and it is right in the Public Market area or what use to be called Pike Place Market. And yes it is within your 50 mile radius. Here is the link for you http://www.washingtonquiltshophop.com

Wonderful List, thank you since I travel to WA at least 2 times a year.....I can personally recommend The Quilting Loft on Market Street. I went in to buy a pattern and came out with 2 bags.
Had to leave a couple of winter outfits with Seattle son to be able to stuff the purchases into my luggage. The sales staff were nice-I hung out for an hour

I highly recomend the Quilt Barn in Puyallup (it's on that list you were sent), they recently doubled their space and now have one of the largest batik collections in the Puget Sound area. They have lots of other beautiful fabric too. Just a 15 minute drive from Auburn. Enjoy your trip!
